ADIG’s first loan project was in 1974 for St Andrew’s Parish in Wee Waa. Every parish and school in the Diocese has borrowed funds from ADIG. This is still a major responsibility of the Group.
ADIG provides loan funding for new buildings and classrooms as well as renovations, office equipment and motor vehicles, in schools and parishes in the Diocese of Armidale. These are offered at interest rates lower than rates for comparable loan purposes, with no establishment or other fees and are made available in many instances where commercially available loan funding would not be obtained.
For information about ADIG’s other work, see our Apostolates.
Some examples of ADIG funded projects are shown below:
New classrooms under construction at McCarthy Catholic College, Tamworth
O’Driscoll Wing at St Mary’s College Gunnedah, funded with the assistance of ADIG
