ADIG proud to support St Nicholas’ Parish with Tamworth Men’s Breakfast

St Nicholas’ Parish East Tamworth recently hosted a breakfast gathering for men which included guest presentations from Mr. Robert Falzon, Co Founder of Men Alive and Mr Peter Gabauer, Co Author of Raising Fathers.

The morning looked at the critical importance of fathers in the growth and development of children and the benefit of authentic Christian men in today’s society.
The event, which was attended by in excess of 80 local men ranging in age from 20’s to 82 identified the benefit of engaging conversation and taking the time reflect on what is important when men transition into fatherhood. It also looked to reinforce the benefit of having a like-minded network of peers who are able to provide ongoing support and assistance as the men of the Diocese look to improve their life skills.

By meeting the costs associated with the breakfast of attendees, ADIG was able to support the mission of the church and the good work of St Nicholas Parish in putting the event together. Ensuring engaging high calibre speakers prompted discussion on a topic often overlooked but incredibly vital to society, through presence of strong father figures and wellbeing.
