This Privacy Policy is for the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the Catholic Diocese of Armidale on behalf of the Armidale Diocesan Investment Group (ADIG) and will be referred to as “we”, “our” and “us” in this Privacy Policy. By providing us with your personal information, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). How We Collect Personal Information
Personal information about you is collected only when you knowingly and voluntarily submit it to us. Personal information will generally be collected directly from you in person, via email, or through the use of any of our online standard forms. In particular, we may collect personal information from application forms and registration forms. We may also collect information when you access our website or social media presences(s).It is our intention that this policy will protect your personal information from being dealt with in any way that is inconsistent with applicable privacy laws in Australia.

When we provide financial services to you, including when you apply for our debenture products, we ask you for the information we need to register your account with us, provide access to internet banking, permit us to pay you and generally allow us to service your account and your needs as a customer.

From time to time we will use your contact details to send you offers, updates, events, articles, newsletters or other information about products and services that we believe will be of interest to you. We do not provide your information to third parties, except that we provide your information to our business partner who assist us in the provision of our services to you.
We will not under any circumstances sell or rent your information to a third party.

We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to us, and we review and update our security measures in light of current technologies. We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information submitted to us.
ADIG makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the most up-to-date security measures are used on our web and mobile sites to protect your personal information. Any data containing personal information which we transmit via the internet is encrypted. However, we cannot guarantee that any information transmitted via the internet by us, or yourself; is entirely secure. You use our website at your own risk. We have firewalls on the perimeter and internal access points which deny all traffic unless explicitly approved. We maintain physical security over our paper and electronic data and premises, by using locks and security. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.
We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However we are not liable for any unauthorised access to this information.
Web Data
In order to collect data we may use “cookies”. Cookies are small pieces of information which are sent to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Sometimes they identify users where the website requires information to be retained from one page to the next. This is purely to increase the functionality of the site. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to discover the identity of the user. Cookies do not damage your computer and you can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie so that you can decide if you want to accept it. Once you leave the site, the cookie is destroyed and no personal or other information about you is stored.
We utilise Google Analytics Advertising features to identify trends of people visiting our website. This information is an aggregate overview and does not allow us to correlate your personal viewing habits on our or other websites. Access to Information
We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep this information accurate and up to date.
Upon receipt of your written request and enough information to allow us to identify the information, we will disclose to you the personal information we hold about you. We will also correct, amend or delete any personal information that we agree is inaccurate, irrelevant, out of date or incomplete. In some limited cases, we may need to refuse access to your information or refuse a request for correction. We will advise you as soon as possible after your request if this is the case and the reasons for our refusal.
Disclosure
We only disclose your personal information for purposes reasonably required for the performance of our services. We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure e.g. Australian Taxation Office.
We may need to provide your information to contractors who supply services to us, e.g. The Fund’s Auditors, Financial Services software providers and digital banking solutions providers.
We will not provide your personal information or disclose it to overseas recipients.
