During March the first formal Diocesan Men’s Gathering event was hosted at McCarthy Catholic College in Tamworth. This initiative builds upon a history of men’s movements and reinforces the ongoing importance of gathering as men in the faith environment to ensure the Gospel is alive in our homes and communities.

The Armidale Diocesan Men’s Gathering aims to inspire and encourage all men with a vision for personal discipleship, service and mission in the family, parish, diocese, and the world.

The event, which was attended by in excess of 70 local men ranging in age from 20’s to 80’s identified the benefit of engaging conversation and taking the time to reflect on what is important when men transition into fatherhood. It reinforced the benefit of having a like-minded network of peers who are able to provide ongoing support and assistance as the men of the Diocese look to improve their life skills.

ADIG was proud to support such an important event.
