Online safety – Cyber-attack on financial industry

Dear customers,

We have been made aware that a cyber-attack has occurred on the financial industry and some accounts may have been illegally accessed and money withdrawn without the knowledge of the account owner.

We suggest that all customers review their accounts and change their passwords to ‘strong’ passwords that include letters (upper and lower case), numbers, and special characters. We also suggest implementing SMS One Time Passwords (OTP) on all accounts.

ADIG has the ability to set up OTP for customers who wish to strengthen their online security. We strongly recommend that you take advantage of this extra level of security.

Implementation OTP is performed through ADIG Online. For more information or assistance with OTP please contact our friendly staff.

Remain vigilant regarding online security. If you believe that you have been the victim of a scam, you should immediately call your financial institution or local police to let them know what has happened.
